As previously mentioned this past semester during my studies at the University of British Columbia I conducted a security analysis of the i>clicker audience response system. As shown in previous posts we were able to develop a working exploit which would allows us to randomly generate clicker IDs on the fly.
As part of the analysis we prepared a powerpoint presentation with our findings. I have created a rough video recap of this presentation narrated by myself.
You can find it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wMqTUmcPlsU&hd=1 .
This presentation focuses mainly upon how we came to discover and develop exploits in the system (all very generalized for ethical reasons). I will post another video in the future further discussing and highlighting security issues and possible solutions to both current and future users of the i>clicker audience response system.
